What is Cole’s Clubhouse all about?
At Cole’s Clubhouse, we aim to keep golf enthusiasts informed and engaged. Our mission is to provide fresh perspectives on the game, inspiring golfers of all levels to connect with the sport they love!
Cole’s Clubhouse was started when its founder, Cole Chluda, decided that golf news and opinions needed a down-to-earth perspective. Cole believed that reporting golf news should be clear and concise, opinions be more realistic, and stories be more relatable. And, as we all know, if you wan’t something done right, you have to do it yourself. That’s why he started it from his bedroom, on his laptop, with his own money.
Cole has spent nearly his entire life around golf. As a baby, Cole would be content with spending his Sunday afternoons on the couch with his father, watching golf on TV. As he grew up, Cole’s dad and grandparents taught him the fundamentals of the game of golf and the golf swing. He then went on to play 3 years of golf at Hudson High School in Hudson, OH. That’s where Cole honed his skills of the game, and learned about the fun of competitive golf. In college, Cole went on to start and run Ohio University’s Student Golf League and helped it explode in popularity and influence.

Cole is a 2024 Ohio University Graduate with a B.S. in Environmental Science & Sustainability. Cole, 23, grew up in Hudson, OH. In Hudson, he played on the high school golf team for three years and was on the drumline for four. At Ohio University, Cole single-handedly started and operated the OU Student Golf League, and was able to grow it from about 12 players to over 80 in just two years! During the summers between college he worked on the grounds crew at Ellsworth Meadows Golf Club in his hometown. Cole now works in consulting and marketing for an organic lawn care service in Independence, OH.
